A new season begins for Azahar Ensemble!
The first concerts will be in October. We will play in Bruchsal (the concert will be broadcasted by SWR2), Lindau and Cologne (Deutschlandfunk Kammermusiksaal).
We will welcome 2017 with a Tour: the first stop will be in Italy where we will play two concerts (Bresanona y Merano). We will travel then to Germany where we are playing three concerts in Wangen Im Allgäu, Deckenpfronn y Neustadt-Weinstrasse. On 26th January we will be playing in the amazing "Johannes Brahms Saal" of the Musikverein Vienna (Austria). We will end our Tour with two concerts in the "Fundación Juan March", Madrid (España)", the sunday concert will be broadcasted live in video by the website of the "Fundación Juan March".
In April you will find us back in Barcelona, where we will take part of the chamber music season of l´Auditori. We will play again the piece dedicated to the Azahar Ensemble "Un Tapís (l´unicorn)" by the composer Joan Magrané. During the week we will be in Barcelona we will be teaching in the Escuela Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) offering specialized woodwind quintet masterclasses.
